After 25 years' operational police service he retired on pension to take up a second career

as a freelance artist but has continued to do the cartoons for POLICE Magazine.

Although his notoriety as a 'cop-artist' has made 'JEDD' ,a well-known name police circles,

his artistic output is not confined to cartooning, and he produces a varied range of artwork under other 'aliases'.

He is a member of the Coventry Water Colour Society and his paintings have been exhibited by the Royal Institute of

Painters in Watercolours at the Mall Galleries.
